Not only designing this eight page magazine style layout, but writing about the one and only Cipe Pineles was an honor. The goal of this book design was to embrace Pineles and bring light to such an iconic designer. The inspiration from the cover, as well as other elements throughout this publication, was from her many magazine covers and layouts during her time. I feel as if this book resembles Pineles well, while incorporating my sense of design style as well.
